EUDXF supports the TO80SP DXpedition
Sigi DL7DF and friends will on an anniversary DXpedition to Saint Pierre and Miquelon between October 2nd and 14th, 2019. TO80SP is the special callsign to celebrate Sigi’s his 80th birtday.
The team will be working on all bands and modes excluding 60m which is not possible in France and his overseas territories. As long propagation permits CW + SSB will be the main modes, but also FT8 is on the agenda.
The team will use 3 stations: 2xIC7300 1xK2 and 3xLinears with Spiderbeam, DeltaLoop and VDA Antennnas. Beverages for the direction EU and JA on the lowbands.
The T80SP team: Annette DL6SAK, Frank DL7UFR, Wolf DL4WK, Manfred DK1BT, Les SP3DOI, Jan SP3CYY and Sigi DL7DF.

EUDXF supports the C21W – T30L DXpedition
The EUDXF board decided to support the September 2019 DXpedition to Nauru and Western Kiribati.
Nauru is currently ranked #46 and Western Kiribati #49 in the Club Log most wanted list for Europe.
The team consists of Yuris/YL2GM (team leader), Kaspars/YL1ZF, Kristers/YL3JA and Jack/YL2KA and plans operation on all bands from 160m to 6m; CW, SSB, RTTY, FT8 (60m band operation under question).

from OH2BH: The weather has been warming up in Kosovo lately and is currently above the freezing mark. Many are wondering why it isn’t possible to eliminate the noise by setting up camp in the quiet open field. The underlying fact is that Pristina is more that 650m above the sea level, and this winter has been particularly cold with -13C temperatures experienced during the activation period. There are prospects in place for the final and upcoming week to operate from a better place. Driton, Z61DX, has been testing the location and reception is dramatically better than at Z60A. (more…)
