9H3HM – Malta

10th January 2019

Active EUDXF Member Hans-Martin DK2HM is currently on Malta island again. Today his Malta callsign 9H3HM was prolonged and he will be able to do some shortwave qsos from MARL clubstation today between 17.00 and 1900 utc. Lets see!

DP0GVN/p – Neumayer Emergency Base

6th January 2019

Matthias, DH5CW, and Felix, DL5XL, will be active from Neumayer Emergency Base (also known as SANAP Summer Base, WAP ZAF-11), Grid Locator IB59UJ, from January 8 to 9, 2019 (weather permitting).
The call sign used will be DP0GVN/p,
QSL via DL5EBE.
Main modes of operation are expected to be CW and FT8.
They will be running 100 watts to a multi-band dipole antenna.

To make it a little easier to find this rare base on the bands, the following CW skeds have been arranged: 08-Jan at 2200 UTC on 10,122 kHz, 08-Jan at 2330 UTC on 7,033 kHz, 09-Jan at 0030 UTC on 14,042 kHz.

E6ET – NIUE 2019 is coming

Niue Island DXpedition 2019

In few months E6ET will be active from NIUE (IOTA OC-040), the plans are almost completed and only the general test of the stations is missing.

Almost 80kg of material was packaged in the explorer-cases cases and this involved a much higher expense than expected in terms of additional baggage on the six 2-way flights !!

For this reason I hope in your kind help in order to cover the last shipping costs of the equipment that amount (only the extra baggage) to over $ 4000.

I will focus 6-10-30-40-60-160m in CW, SSB and DIGI modes, wherever possible will be my pleasure take a sked for specific band and mode.

I will have one FT8 station active H24 7/7 on the main bands (20m during the day and 40/60m during night).

If you want, every contribution also small, will be accepted and appreciated and will help me to cover the cost of the extra-size boarded suitcases in order to be operative with an antenna setup, rtx and amplifier as good as possible.
