EUDXF support for TX0T by Cezar VE3LYC

Following his request for support the EUDXF Board decided to support the upcoming TX0T DXpedition to French Polynesia (Tatakoto, IOTA: OC-298)  between Oct 29 and Nov 5, 2020 by Cezar VE3LYC.

In the curent challenging times for travelling Cezar decided to accept the extra challenge of two Covid-19 tests and extra time in Papeete in order to have this project going.
There have been some interesting expeditions this year, but not as many ones to pretty rare DXCCs and IOTAs. Although this will be a New One for IOTA this is not a criteria for the EUDXF , this is the DXCC status.  French Polynesia is listed on the Club Log Most Wanted at #81 for Europe, with a brake down of #68 in CW, #74 in SSB, and #100 in DATA. Well enough to be valid for EUDXF Support.

Cezar travels alone carrying two IC7000 radio’s with one KPA500 amplifier and two Multi-Band Verticals.

Another re-scheduled DXpedition: CY0C

The CY0C DXpedition to Sable Island is now scheduled for october 2021.

HAM RADIOnline

Although we do not meet up in Friedrichshafen for HamRadio 2020 this weekend we still can enjoy the event online. Many varied topics relating to amateur radio, operating and broadcasting technology, as well as honors, talk groups and interviews will be presented on the internet by the DARC under the title „HAM RADIOnline“ from June 26 to 29, 2020.

The HAM RADIOnline program sees itself as a „replacement“ for the Lake Constance meeting in Friedrichshafen and starts on Friday evening of the last weekend in June.

Together, the DARC and the trade fair company are thus creating a virtual trade fair experience and bringing the volunteers, dealers and manufacturers to your home.  More information is available at https://www.hamradio-friedrichshafen.com/news/2020/ham-radionline/
